In Accra, on Monday, the minister for Lands Mr. John-Peter Amewu, explained that such statutory infractions render the lease granted Exton cubic invalid and of no effect.
The President, Nana Akufo-Addo says he is not against mining activities in general as being speculated but rather illegal mining. According to him, mining especially along water bodies should not continue since it adversely affects human survival.
